Here’s how you can support troubled youth on World Kindness Day

November 13 is World Kindness Day, a day dedicated to spreading compassion and reaching out to those who may be feeling troubled. In a society where youth are grappling with unprecedented challenges and uncertainties, there has never been a better time to extend our empathy and understanding.

How to Support Teens on World Kindness Day

Make it your goal today (and every day) to reach out to teens who might need a little kindness to show them a better path:

  • Teach them self-compassion. When teens show kindness towards themselves, they are better equipped to show kindness towards others.
  • Remind them that it's okay to take breaks and prioritize their mental well-being.
  • Encourage them to engage in conversations with people from diverse backgrounds or cultures. By understanding different points of view, teens develop a greater sense of empathy and are more likely to treat others with kindness and respect.
  • Model kindness for teenagers. Being kind in their presence will have a significant impact on their own behavior.

How Hallmark Youthcare Shows Kindness Every Day
